Contributions Policy:
The Beacon accepts stories, photos and opinion pieces for publication. Submissions should be dropped off at the office or emailed to Beacon@MCLA.edu no later than Monday at noon.
Advertising Policy:
The Beacon reserves the right not to publish any advertisement it deems to be libelous, false or in bad taste.

The Beacon is published Thursdays during the academic year and is distributed free to the College community. The Beacon is funded by the Student Government Association, the English Communications department and from ad revenues.
The Beacon is located in room 111of Mark Hopkins Hall, Church Street, North Adams, Massachusetts.

Unsigned editorials that appear on this website reflect the views of The Beacon's editorial board. Signed Columns and commentaries that appear on these pages reflect the views of the writers.
Comments made on this website do not, in any way, reflect the views of the Beacon, it's staff or the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, but only that of the signed author.
Letters Policy:
The Beacon welcomes letters to the editor. The deadline is noon on Monday of the weeks newspaper. Letters should be kept to 500 words or fewer and are subject to editiing for gammar and content. The Beacon will not publish anonymous or libelous letters. Letters must be signed by the writer and include a phone number.
